The question that was posed to me was if integrating social media into your website important. The answer to that question yes it is important IF YOU ARE ACTIVE. If you aren’t actively tweeting or making post about your business then there’s no point in having it on your website. Social media is a great tool to help increase traffic to your website in ways that you wouldn’t be able to do on your own through your website. In my opinion it also validates your business as well.
You may ask how can having a facebook page, yelp, twitter, and or instagram validate your business? It’s the people that you connect with on those different platforms is what validate your business. They share your post as well create testimonials and reviews. The more you have of that the more trusting your company becomes and your website becomes trusting especially if people have to put in special information while purchasing items such as address, credit cards etc.
