Where we come from
Knowing that our company was doing just fine in Atlanta, clients and competitors often ask why Detroit. The response I give is Atlanta has a city full of designers and developers who offer the services we offer, but Detroit doesn’t. Not to discredit companies like Brown Box Branding, Form Code, Kelly White Design and many many other companies. You all do a great job at what you do. I believe there’s room at the top for all of us and the special qualities we all offer, but there is not enough companies likes us to help build and groom these companies and Ralph Walker Designs is here to put our stamp on the Detroit web design landscape.
When It All Started
I am originally from Detroit. We first lived in Detroit then our parents moved us to Southfield. Detroit has always been a special place for me before I moved to Atlanta to start this company. When I started this company I had 3 locations in mind to spread our hand of design across US. The locations are Detroit, Atlanta, and LA. To be honest these cities were stuck with me since the 7th grade.
Having a Detroit Web Design company could be a daunting task coming from a much faster pace city. I believe in where this city is headed and the progress that it has already made from the 8 years we were in Atlanta. Being from Detroit I come from the handshake way of doing business and by the look in a persons eyes you could tell they really meant whatever was promised.
Our Mission
One of our missions for our Detroit web design company is to bring the face to face experience to the web design industry. In this industry a lot of hide behind our technical jargon and computers. I want my clients to know and understand the product that they have and know whats being offered to them. To many times clients come to us not knowing what they have and not knowing how to use the tool they have. We work with a lot established companies to help retool their businesses. We want your website to be an employee of your company and not just something to refer people to for information.
